Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add an authenticator code to every login — setup, disabling, and recovery notes.
With 2FA on, sign-in needs your password and a rotating 6-digit code from an authenticator app — so a stolen password isn’t enough.
Setting it up
1
Open the authenticator setup
In Settings → Password and Authentication, choose Set up authenticator.
2
Add the secret to your app
Scan the QR / add the manual entry key in Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password or similar.
3
Confirm a code
Enter the live 6-digit code and press Enable authenticator.
No backup codes yet
There are no backup codes at the moment — keep your authenticator app safe. To turn 2FA off you’ll need your current password and a fresh code (Disable authenticator).
